Human. Community. Management journal is published since 1999 года, the founder being Kuban State University. The journal positions itself as an interdisciplinary journal in social sciences and humanities, advertised in Rospechat catalogues. The journal is distributed via subscriptions and is mailed in 50 leading academic institutions and schools of higher learning in Russia. E-archive of the journal is presented at the web-site of the journal and the Russian index of research citing (National e-library eLIBRARY.RU) with all the material open. The journal is published by the Department for Management and Psychology of Kuban State University.

In its 15-year history, the journal has been recognised by scientific community: by the decision of Higher Attestation Committee Presidium, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation it is included in the list of leading reviewed journals and editions, where general results of Candidate’s and Doctoral theses must be published. More than 65 Doctoral  and more 130 Candidate’s have been presented since then in political science, economics, psychology, sociology, methods of teaching, philosophy, and history.  About every issue of the journal publishes the results of research projects supported by Russian and foreign foundations and endowments. 

High scientific level of the journal is backed up by its Editorial Council with its famous researchers representing 17 schools of higher learning in Russian Federation and Russian Academy of Science research centres, three universities from abroad, and three Russian Academy of Science Full Members.
