CONFIDENCE, SOCIAL AND INTERPERSONAL TRUST: CRITERIONS OF DIFFERENTIATION

Abstract: The concept of trust is largely used by sociologists, economists, anthropologists and others, but its strict definition is a serious problem. The article is an attempt to analyze and generalize the scientific uses of the notion, to discriminate different types and forms of trust. Two oppositions are stressed: «confidence–trust», «interpersonal trust – social trust».

LEGAL IMAGINATIONS OF A PERSON WITH DIFFERENT ATTITUDES TO PARTICIPATION IN JURY TRIAL

Abstract: The main inquiry question is whether those, who accept to participate in jury, and those, who do not, differ with their legal conceptions and representations? Correlations between some parameters of 3 hierarchical levels of the “legal mind” were found: (1) attitudes to participate in jury, (2) general conceptions and attitudes to lawfulness, social order, authorities etc., (3) social identities and values.
